UPDATED INFORMATION
A follow up meeting is taking place online. Please email admissions@hampton-hargate.peterborough.sch.uk if you would like to attend but haven't already booked a place.
Tuesday 7th December: 6.30pm – 7.20pm
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a session during the school day and for those parents who are unable to attend, a copy of the presentation and information will be available on our website.
We were hoping to be able to hold our annual Welcome Meetings back in school this year, however the advice that schools have been given is to remain cautious and to gradually ease back into the 'new normal'. Therefore, we have decided to move the meetings to online.
Reception/Year 1 and Year 2 will hold live ZOOM meetings at the following times:
Reception - Friday 10th September - 9.15am / 2.00pm
Year 3/Year4/Year 5 and Year 6 have included their presentations via the YouTube links below
PLEASE ACCEPT YOUR OFFER VIA EMAIL: admissions@hampton-hargate.peterborough.sch.uk

Reception Parents Reading Meeting
Dear Parents/Carers
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who attended either one of the reading meetings we held at school yesterday.
We have received lots of positive comments about the content of these sessions and also about how useful and informative they were.
If you were unable to attend, we will be putting the presentation onto the school website for your information. There are also several short videos on the school website that give examples of the reading strategies we talked about during the meeting. I would encourage you to spend some time viewing them so you are able to support your child with their reading at home.
During the meeting we explained that we are now introducing a reading reward scheme for children who are reading at home five times a week. Reading is such an important skill and we are actively encouraging all children to read as much as possible. Please can we ask that you find a few minutes to listen to your child read every night if possible, or at least five times a week.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours sincerely
Rebecca Arora
