Parent's Evening

Dear Parents/Carers

As you may already be aware, due to COVID 19 restrictions, we are not able to offer face to face appointments for Parent’s Evening. Instead, we would like to offer you the usual 10-minute consultation by telephone to ensure you still receive the opportunity to discuss your child’s work and progress.

These telephone consultations will take place during the following evenings:


Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th November

Year 1

Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th November

Year 2

Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd November

Year 3

Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th November

Year 4

Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th November

Year 5

Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th November

Year 6

Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th November


We usually ask parents to return a form to the school with their preferred time and day of appointment, however, to streamline the process and make it more efficient we will be using a new online system to book appointments. Many schools already offer this and we are hoping that it will save time for both parents and staff as well as less paperwork to handle.

The system will automatically create an account for your child in their class group and you will shortly be receiving an e-mail from our Website provider e4education. This email will contain your account username (your email address) and a link to create a password for your account. Please make sure that you check your junk mail or spam for emails if they don’t appear in your inbox.

Once you have created your password and activated your account, you will then be able to make a Parent’s Evening booking with your child’s teacher once the booking window goes live. Bookings will go live from     10am on Friday 16th October. You will receive a further email from e4education to let you know that the booking system has gone live with a link to click to take you direct to your account. Once you have made your booking it will show on your account and therefore you won’t require a piece of paper from the school with the time on it. You will also be able to amend your appointment time (subject to availability right up until the booking window closes).

We have updated our MIS system with email addresses from ParentPay and would ask you to let us know as soon as possible if your email address has changed. If you have not provided an up to date email address you will not receive the link to create an account.

When you make your booking, you will be asked to provide a telephone number in the notes section so that the teacher has your preferred contact number for the appointment. This would be extremely helpful as the teachers will only have 10 minutes for each appointment time and therefore won’t be able to look up other contact numbers.

Separated parents are able to make a separate appointment time, however,to keep calls to a minimum we ask that wherever possible only one booking is made per child.

If your child has an EHCP and you have had or will be having a ‘Teams Meeting’ with either Mrs Christophi or Miss Porter and the class teacher, you do not need to book a separate appointment. You will still automatically receive an email and if you require a separate telephone conversation you are welcome to book an appointment.

Please note that calls may come up as ‘withheld’ or ‘number unknown’.
