Reception SEND Teaching Assistant


31 ¼ hours per week – term time only.

SCP 7-12

Required from September 2022

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. Ideally, we require a TA with some SEND experience. Our school has been judged outstanding by Ofsted and we require a Teaching Assistant who can share and contribute to our high standards and expectations. The role will also include a half hour cover to support at lunchtime.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday  8.30am – 3.15pm (with ½ hour for lunch)

We require a TA who has experience of supporting children on 1:1 or a small group basis.

Experience of, or willingness to learn, how to support a child’s needs including ASD, Speech & language, Precision Teaching and knowledge of supporting social skills and interaction.

Experience of working with children with ASD, competency in English, maths and IT is required.
