Pay: SCP 19 – 24 £25481 - £28672 Full time - 37 hours per week/52 weeks
There is some flexibility regarding hours of work and this can be discussed at interview. An example of hours would be:
7.15am – 10.30am Monday to Thursday 7.15am – 10am Friday
2.00pm – 6.15pm Monday to Friday
(Additional overtime hours may be available on occasions for evenings/PTA events etc)
We are looking for a reliable, conscientious and hardworking site manager to be responsible for all matters relating to the smooth running of the school’s buildings, grounds and equipment. You will be a key member of our successful school’s team playing an active part in school life, taking pride in the maintenance of our excellent building and facilities.
The ideal applicant will have experience of organising contractors and the day to day requirements of our school site. You will manage a team of cleaners to work across the school, as well as ordering appropriate materials.
The post requires you to carry out general maintenance around the school site. You will need good inter-personal skills, ability to plan and think ahead and be able to communicate with contractors.
The successful candidate will need to have IT experience and the ability to learn about systems related to the running and organisation of the school, such as fire and security systems, plant room equipment etc. In addition, the role will involve working with senior staff with regard to Health & Safety throughout school.
If you feel you are suitable for this role but do not have the appropriate experience, all necessary training can be provided.
The above post is permanent and would suit somebody who has practical skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
